The Fashionable Must Have Piece of My Child
For those of you who follow me, the art of fashionable expression though a hobby, is definitely a family affair. My son helps to scout out creative locations for our shoots and takes my pictures, while my daughter helps to style my shoes for my outfits…I often need help and she’s very good at picking the perfect shoe!
In this post, my daughter will come from behind the scenes and share why her go-to item is her faux fur vest for any season. Not only do I enjoy clothing and fashion, but my 8 year old daughter does as well. Another similar quality she has of mine is when she finds something that works for her, she sticks with it.
Reasons why my daughter sticks with her beloved faux fur vest (and yes, we actually sat down and discussed this):
- Seasonally friendly. She says she likes that it can be worn during winter months or during chilly days in spring or summer. Chicago weather is unpredictable so she’s learned to layer.
- It is versatile. She loves that she can wear it with jeans, dresses, skirts and shorts. She loves pink so that fact that the vest can go with almost anything is a plus!
- It is very comfortable and warm. Another reason she loves her vest. “It’s like walking around, being wrapped up in your favorite blanket.”
Never underestimate the fashion opinion of a child. Given the chance, they might blow you away!
