Rainy Days = The High Messy Bun!
I am counting down the days to where I can wear my curls again.  That day is coming soon, so I will stop complaining and just deal.  However, finding other styles while my hair is straight is what is bothering me.  I get easily bored with my hair so straight hair is definitely not for me (at least long term).  Anyway, because the weather is pretty humid today I decided to try the messy hair bun that I found on YouTube by Macbarbie07, which can be viewed here.  I wear high buns often but never tried this method.  Macbarbie07’s tutorial is best for straight hair, but I like LOVE Shanti’s method from a Around the Way Curls which can be viewed here.  I like messy hair because it isn’t perfect, but just IS.  Now if I could perfect the just-out-of-bed look I would be a happy camper.
Note: I did not to tease my hair as Macbarbie07 did in her video.
I took about 5-6 individual hair pieces and rolled with my fingers and pinned each curl.  Pretty quick and easy and also a great way to hide the frizz!  I pulled strands out at my temples, left those pieces straight, and pulled pieces out by my ears and coiled them.  It took less than 5 minutes.
Quick easy, and a time saver!
